Do you need to create a learning program but don’t know where to start or what it should look like?
We study the existing content, platforms, and frameworks. We interact with stakeholders to understand their requirements and challenges, we understand and analyze the target audience and their needs, we examine the business challenges, and get a clear picture of where you are where you need to be.
We define the terminal and enabling objectives; we source content (making an effort to reuse, repurpose, refurbish where possible); we structure the content into an effective learning flow; we define learning strategies for each topic; and we design formative and summative assessment strategies.

At VGC, our team has decades of experience in working with content from a wide range of domains. This experience has grown our knowledge of and comfort in working with varied content from practically any domain.
The processes we have fine-tuned allow us to understand the content and handle it efficiently and meticulously. We don’t need to deep dive into the unnecessary details of content, nor do we get bogged down by its quantity or breadth. No matter what field or domain our customers come from, we are confident in our ability to understand and structure your content to create and define an effective learning experience.
As an Instructional Design House, we know how to convert your content into effective instructional material. We use a wide range of strategies, and we have perfected the mixed media approach to choose appropriate learning strategies for different kinds of content. By analyzing the content and breaking it up, it’s easy to find the strategy that suits each piece of content perfectly. Using the right strategy, and a wide enough variety of learning strategies makes all the difference in the effectiveness of a particular learning program.
Here are some of the learning strategies that we have effectively used to enhance long and sometimes dry learning programs.
We make learning fun by adding game elements like point systems, challenges, progress tracking, and competitions into content that may seem dry, or to help learners practice skills, or to encourage course completion. Everything is more interesting when there is an added element of competition.
Inserting the learner into the practical implications of the content they are trying to grasp through mini-scenarios, cases, and examples has been shown to increase interest and understanding of principles and concepts. It’s an easy way to connect to the learner’s experiences, and make the information relevant and relatable.
We use insights, advice, examples and personal experiences from experts to make the content more personal and interesting for learners. Interview videos give the learners context for their learning and how it impacts the organization. Audio clips with anecdotes and experiences make the learning personal and relevant. Text-based tips and hints bring nuance and dimension to prescriptive learning content.
A new and flexible learning approach is the microlearning approach, in which we present a bite-sized learning nugget laser-focused on achieving a single learning objective. We design microlearning nuggets by taking apart the course and restructuring it completely into many discrete pieces of learning, which come together to build a holistic skill.
Storytelling is a powerful tool to connect with the audience on an emotional level and drive motivation, behavioral change, and even concept understanding. We present stories through illustrated or realistic videos, comic strips, visuals, audio, and even text to create interest and learning through our courses.
One of the best ways of learning is to explore and discover the concepts yourself! We use various techniques to enable discovery learning—from thought-starter questions to activities that lead into new learning to decision-driven scenarios where the learners experience consequences to build their learning intrinsically.
